KATHMANDU, Aug 4: A team of three students of the Pulchowk Engineering Campus; Abhish Khanal, Subhash Timalsina, and Sushan Paudel will be heading for Vietnam to participate in a robotics competition, which will see participation of students from over 22 countries. As part of a pre-event, they demonstrated their robots on the campus on Friday.

Like yesteryears, the 4th year students of IOE Pulchowk Campus organized LOCUS 2018, the 15th National Technological Festival, as a platform for aspiring students from different colleges in the field of Computer, Electronics and Electrical Engineering to showcase their projects.

The Sarwanam Theatre is all set to soon organize Drishyamsha, a competition where short movies prepared from mobile phones are exhibited.

A second edition of ‘Meet Investors @Breakfast’ is set to be organized on August 20 from 9 am to 12 pm. The event, last year, was successful in bringing startups, entrepreneurs and business enthusiast together and helped them either start or scale up their initiative. To participate in the event, business representatives would have to go through extensive selection process, which will be conducted on Maan Nam Multi-Cuisine Restaurant and Lounge Bar in Padma Marg, Bhatbhateni.

‘India Now and In Transition’, edited by Indian Journalist Atul K Thakur and published by Niyogi Books was officially launched at India International Center, New Delhi on Friday. According to the press statement released by Thakur, the book is compiled in the memory of Late BG Verghese, former editor – Indian Express and Hindustan Times.

KATHMANDU, July 26: Beginning from July 28, a new play ‘Madhavi’ will be staged at Shilpee Group’s Gothale Theater in Battisputali. Tanka Chaulagain of Theater Pragya has adapted and directed it based on Indian writer Bhisham Sahani’s Hindi play of the same name.
