SC's stay order against embossed number plates

KATHMANDU, Feb 23: Supreme Court on Thursday issued an interim order against government decision to implement embossed number plates.

KATHMANDU, August 21: The Department of Transportation Management has started installing the high security embossed number plate in the vehicles from Monday.

KATHMANDU, Feb 6: The government is going to introduce embossed number plate system for automobiles from next year. The Department of Transport Management is going to fix embossed number (registration) plates to vehicles in order to make them ‘technology-friendly’ and to protect them from being stolen.
