UK condemns election-related violence

KATHMANDU, Nov 22: Condemning the recent election-related violence in Nepal, the United Kingdom has called on all stakeholders to ensure that the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies are held in a peaceful, inclusive and broadly supported manner. The two crucial elections are scheduled for November 26 and December 7.

KATHMANDU, July 30: The Legislature-Parliament today sent the bills related to the election to the House of Representatives and the provincial assembly for clause-wise discussion to the state affairs committee.

SAC endorses election-related Bill

KATHMANDU, Jan 27: The State Affairs Committee (SAC) has endorsed the election-related bill drafted in line with the federal structure.
