KATHMANDU, Nov 22: Condemning the recent election-related violence in Nepal, the United Kingdom has called on all stakeholders to ensure that the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies are held in a peaceful, inclusive and broadly supported manner. The two crucial elections are scheduled for November 26 and December 7.

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: At a time the government has urged the Election Commission (EC) to make preparations at a war footing to hold the elections in three levels - local, provincial and central - within the time frame stipulated by the constitution, the EC has complained the government of delaying formulation of necessary laws to hold the elections.
