KATHMANDU, June 2: Nepal and India reached a slew of agreements and launched over half a dozen projects during Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's official visit to India to deepen economic cooperation between the two countries.

Although Nepal and Bangladesh are neighboring countries, trade and economic relations between the two are negligible. We are conscious of promoting trade and economic cooperation based on equality and mutual benefit, but the reality is we have not been able to expand our bilateral trade.

KATHMANDU, April 29: The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Development Fund has entered into the tenth year of its inception.

KATHMANDU, Nov 6: The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has asked the newly appointed ambassadors of Nepal to Australia and Spain to focus on expansion of economic cooperation and promotion of tourism.

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: Experts have said that South Asian countries including Nepal should move forward deepening economic cooperation within the region and also with other Asian countries for inclusive and balanced economic development of the south Asian region.
