KATHMANDU, August 7: An emergency meeting of Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s central working committee on Monday decided to expel nearly two dozen leaders. The decision comes a day after the party suffered a vertical split nine months after its unification.

GAIGHAT, AUG 4: The Gaighat chapter of Nepali Congress (NC) has recommended that half a dozen local leaders and cadres of the party be punished “for betraying and not supporting the party during the recently held local elections.”
