KATHMANDU, APRIL 10- The Pakistani Embassy has doubled the scholarship quota being allocated for Nepali students at the local level. The decision follows the announcement of increasing Pakistan's scholarship quota for Nepali students made during Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi's recent official visit to Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Feb 15: Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) flow in the first six months of FY2017/18 nearly doubled to Rs 14.33 billion compared to Rs 7.9 billion in the first half of the last fiscal year, a recent data of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) shows.

KATHMANDU, May 29: Nepal's economy has bounced back after two bad years punctuated  by earthquake and the Indian blockade. Tabling the economic survey report in  parliament on Sunday, Finance Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara said that the  economy, which contracted because of the earthquake and supply disruption in the boarder areas, has now fully rebounded.  The survey is  based on data for the first eight months  of the current fiscal year.
