APF, Army dominate second day

KATHMANDU, June 6: The departmental team Armed Police Force (APF) Club has maintained the top spot in the fourth RBB-NVA National Women’s Volleyball League after defeating fellow departmental team Nepal Police Club in a straight set of 3-0 on Tuesday in Kathmandu.

ROLPA, May 13: The first Speaker’s Cup National Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Tournament, the highest prize money tournament outside the valley, has started in Liwang, Rolpa on Saturday. The tournament which is organized by the National Sports Council (NSC) will conclude on May 16. KATHMANDU, Feb 9: The boys' semifinals of the ongoing Nepal ITF Junior U-18 Circuit-I Tennis Tournament is set to be an all-Indian affair after four participants of the country booked their places in the last four on Thursday.

POKHARA, Feb 7: Departmental teams continued the dominance in the ongoing Srijana Invitational International Men's and Women's Volleyball Tournament on Tuesday securing semifinal spots. However, Tribhuvan Army Club failed to progress to the last four in the women's event but went through in the men's side along with host Western Region and departmental rivals Nepal Police Club and Armed Police Force (APF).
