Education Act to be replaced after 52 years

KATHMANDU, August 4: The government has made a significant step in order to replace the Education Act, 1971 (2028 BS) which was issued 52 years ago. A bill has been duly advanced by the government to amend and unify the existing laws related to school education.
Private schools in Parbat increase fees by 25%

PARBAT, April 15: Breaching the government's educational policy, private schools in Parbat have decided to increase the fees by 25% without consulting with the District Education Office (DEO) and the guardians.
