KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Nepal suffered a seven-wicket defeat to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in an ICC World Cricket League Championship (WCLC) match on Wednesday.

PARBAT, Aug 7: Nar Bahadur Paija of Baskharka, Parbat district, spent his five precious years in Malaysia and Qatar as a laborer. Unable to make enough money, he returned to the country and started orange farming. Now, he is earning more than Rs 700,000 every year. He has around 200 orange trees in his field.

KATHMANDU, Feb 7: Nepali tennis players Saurav Raj Pandey, Pranav Khanal and Sakchham Karki all faced defeat in the ongoing Nepal ITF Junior Tennis Tournament on Tuesday in the boys' singles section. In the matches played at Satdobato's tennis court, the Nepali players lost to Indian opponents Aditya Iyer, Piyush S Salekar and Adarsha Naga Tippabhatla respectively.
