KATHMANDU, July 23: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) will offer additional facilitation in digital payments in a bid to stop financial anomalies and facilitate revenue collection, according to the Monetary Policy for the current fiscal year, 2023/24 unveiled today.

And, of course, despite having so many innovations in digital payment systems, no one can predict exactly what the world’s digital currency will look like.

KATHMANDU, March 18: Payments through QR codes have shot up lately, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has said. Over Rs 500 million was transacted through payments via QR codes in a period of just one month (From January 14 to February 12, 2021).
