Nepal Rastra Bank opens RTGS access for development banks and finance companies

KATHMANDU, Jan 9: In a bid to expand online fund transfer facilities, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has incorporated 10 development banks and finance companies in the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system.
Kumari Bank to acquire Deva Bikas Bank

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Kumari Bank Ltd has announced the acquisition of Deva Bikas Bank Ltd (DBBL). Issuing a statement, the commercial bank said that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with DBBL for acquiring the 'B' class development bank on Wednesday.
