In May 2023, India set a world record by constructing a 100 km road as part of the Ghaziabad-Aligarh Expressway in just 100 hours. This road project spans various towns and cities in Uttar Pradesh, including Dadri, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Sikandrabad, Bulandshahr, and Khurja.

KATHMANDU, Jan 4: The estimated cost of the Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project (UTHP) has been projected to increase by an additional Rs 3 billion this year due to delays in the completion of the 456 MW hydropower project caused by the impact of lockdown and coronavirus, timely availability of related equipment and dilly-dallying by the contractor.

However, the owners of the land have still not received the compensation for the land. Let alone distributing compensation, the government has not yet fixed rate of the land in some cases.

GORKHA, April 27: As April 25, 2016, marked two years of the deadly Gorkha earthquake, President Bidhya Devi Bhandari reached Barpak, the epicenter, to lay the foundation stone for an earthquake memorial park. As per the plan, 28 quake-damaged houses of a dalit community would be conserved in the park along with the debris. The whole intention was to allow tourists to observe and revisit the situation of earthquake. But that has not been possible till now due to the differences in opinion of locals.

The real culprits of flight delays

Every airliner, whether it is domestic or international has faced flight delays. These delays do not occur intentionally. An airport needs to run smoothly and efficiently so that they can handle all the passengers and cargo in a scheduled manner.
