KATHMANDU, June 29: Trade deficit widened by 17.4% in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year 2018/19 to Rs 1,211.97 billion.

KATHMANDU, July 17:  The balance of payment (BoP) position of the country has slightly improved in the eleventh month of the current Fiscal Year 2017/18, but still remains on the negative side. According to the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the overall BoP turned into a deficit of Rs 4.34 billion in the eleventh month of the current Fiscal Year 2017/18 that ends on Tuesday. The deficit was Rs 18.9 billion in the tenth month.
