KATHMANDU, Oct 4: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has stated that there won’t be a fuel shortage in this festive season. The corporation has clarified that it has enough storage of the fuel targeting Dashain and other festivals.

The couple was coming home from Himachal Pradesh of India for celebrating Dashain with their family members at home. “It feels so good to return home. We planned the return for many months. Now that we are on our way, we are really feeling great,” said Bakhat, a local of Chanute village of Surkhet.
Kathmandu, Sept 27: A taskforce formed under Sustainable Development and Good-Governance Committee of the National Assembly has monitored Salt Trading and Fair Price Shops which are being operated in the capital from September 9 to October 4 targeting Dashain, Tihar and Chhath festivals.

BIRATNAGAR, Sept 10: Most of the farmers in Belbari of Morang are involved in goat farming through local cooperative organization. Each of the goat farmers have 2 to 13 goats ready to be sold for Dashain. The farmers have readied over 81,000 goats for sale.

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: I was set by packing my bags to get away from my books; exploring things in a practical way. I took a flight with my family. We actually had a plan to visit the Rara Lake, but we were bound to land at Nepalgunj airport because of shortage of tickets for Rara.

NEPALGUNJ, Oct 25: Then Maoist rebels had kidnapped Chandra Bahadur BC of Sisne Rural Municipality-7, Rukumkot, in December 1999 when the armed insurgency was at its peak. The rebels had also kidnapped his wife Gyanu and their eight-month old son. The family was held captive for three months.
