KATHMANDU, March 31: Four people were injured in a jeep accident in Dailekh.

KATHMANDU, Feb 7: District Police Office, Dailekh, has arrested two minors on charge of attempted homicide. Police have kept the identity of the minors secret. Their changed names are Dailekh-39 of the age 14 and Dailekh-35 of the age 15.

SURKHET, Feb 7: A young man has died due to electrocution in Dailekh.

BIRENDRANAGAR, June 17: Narayan Municipality in Dailekh is facing severe criticism after it was revealed that they have misused 180 million rupees in violation of established regulations. The municipality has been found guilty of unauthorized payments of salaries and allowances to teachers, as well as spending funds without an annual procurement master plan.

DAILEKH, March 27: Hira Thapa Magar, 28, of Lekcha in Dungeshwar Rural Municipality-3 attempted mass suicide along with her children on Thursday morning. First, she killed her 3-year-old son Umesh Thapa by hanging him by a piece of cloth. Shortly afterwards, she and her daughter jumped into the Lekcha River near her home and attempted suicide. However, her 9-year-old daughter managed to save herself by escaping from her mother's grip.
