KATHMANDU, Jan 26: The Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) is extending a special opportunity to students enrolled in the semester examination system at the diploma level, who registered until 2016/17.

KATHMANDU, Sept 6: The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) published the results of an entrance test conducted on August 26 for admissions to the Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) Nursing course in the academic session of 2023/24. The results show 12,000 students had passed the entrance test, proving their eligibility for admission.

5.5m euro EU grant to CTEVT

KATHMANDU, Dec 13: Nepal and the European Union (EU) have signed a grant contract of 5.5 million euros (Rs 667.9 million) with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) for implementing the 'Sakchyamta' (i.e. Competency) project. The CTEVT will be contributing 61111 euros as co-financer of the project.

KATHMANDU, Oct 7: The student union affiliated to the CPN (Maoist Center) has padlocked the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) on Friday accusing the CTEVT of making preparations to issue affiliation to colleges which do not meet the basic infrastructural requirements.

KATHMANDU, July 5: Although the government introduced letter grading system in School Leaving Certificate exams with much ado, it seems little attention was paid to accommodate an overwhelming number of students who are now eligible to enroll for grade 11 studies or apply for vocational courses.
