KATHMANDU, April 11: Upholding its core Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objective of Societal Responsibility, Himalaya Airlines has continued its annual contribution to Prayas Nepal through the "Step Towards Education" campaign. This year, the initiative was conducted at the commencement of the academic session on April 10, 2024. Ujjwala Dali, head of the Brand Department, presented essential educational materials such as course books, notebooks, school bags, and school shoes to the children of Prayas Nepal.

With the enactment of the Industrial Enterprise Act (2016) and its regulations, the mandatory corporate social responsibility (CSR) is now set for implementation. As per the provisions made in the law, all medium and large scale units and small scale units with a turnover of Rs 150 million are obliged to allocate minimum one percent of their net profits into CSR budgets every year.

KATHMANDU, July 13: Everest Ad & Event Management, an advertising and event management company, has provided food and other items to Matatirtha Briddhashram Samiti, an elderly home located in Kathmandu. Marking its anniversary, the company distributed 300 kilograms of rice grains, 30 kg pulse grains, 50 kg potato, 50 kg sugar, and 10 liter cooking oil, salt, spices, chicken, mutton, washing soap, bath soap, handwash, detergent, toiletries, and chairs under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity, according to a press statement issued by the company on Thursday.
