Buwa wins Ncell short film competition

KATHMANDU, Aug 30: 'Buwa', a short film by Kamal Subedi and his team has won the first prize at the Ncell Short Film Competition organized by Ncell Pvt Ltd with the theme Buwa, a series of short films on its social media platform.

Active Production and Media Pvt Ltd has announced a competition titled ‘Hero Nepal’ on Thursday amid a program organized in the capital.

Upcoming Nepali film ‘Love You Hamesa’ has announced a video contestant, where both married and unmarried couples can get a chance to visit Darjeeling.

Nepalese Portuguese Society Norway (NPS) and Helping Hand Nepal won the volleyball competition organized by Nepali Janasamparka Samiti (JSS) on Sunday in Oslo, Norway. A total of 11 teams participated in the competition where the teams Norway Blue Team, ONUF, Everest Sports Club and Nps reached to the semi-final.

A total of 200 poems were received for the competition as per the organizer Aarohi Entertainment. Kshitiz Samparna became the winner in the competition with his poem titled  ‘Astipanjar Junuagi’. Likewise, ‘Swaawalambi Jhanda’ by Niraj Dahal and ‘Farkeu Timi’ by Suman Thapa Magar become first and second runner-up with cash prize Rs 30,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively. The panel of judges included Poets Upendra Subba and Nawaraj Parjuli.

KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Kathmandu School of Law (KSL) has won the South Asian Regional Rounds of 14th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition in Tehran, Iran. The competition, was initiated by ICRC Regional Delegation for South Asia in 2001.
