KATHMANDU, July 25: The equity market opened higher in the first hour of trading and remained mostly in the upside as investors reacted positively to the series of fourth quarterly reports. Despite a pullback at the end, market still managed to close 4.77 points higher. As a result, the benchmark Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index closed at 1,199.27 points.

KATHMANDU, July 21: Stocks opened the week posting strong gains ahead of the start of the Fiscal Year 2018/19. On the first two trading sessions, the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse), which opened the week at 1191.98 points, climbed more than 20 points. Nonetheless, the index recorded losses in all latter sessions. Consequently, Nepse added a meager 1.41 points to close the week at 1,193.39 points.

KATHMANDU, July 7: The total turnover in the domestic share market this week was 133.73 billion, which was more by 28.39 percent compared to the previous week. According to Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), a total of 4,254,550 units of share from 184 companies were traded in the week.

KATHMANDU, May 19: The domestic share market recorded total turnover of one billion 81 million 941 thousand rupees this week. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange Limited, a total of 2,329,440 units of share were traded in this week, which is less than 45.96 percent compared to the previous week.
