KATHMANDU, June 15: Lawmaker Arjun Narsingh KC has said the pace of national development will be impeded unless the people living below absolute poverty, the marginalized and neglected citizens have an access to social security and income.

As a result, we choose to incline toward different rights to protect ourselves. Also, the state assures various rights to its citizens. Although we enjoy these rights, sometimes the offenders try to violate them resulting in imprisonment or financial penalties.
Kathmandu, July 28: Now onwards, Nepali citizens will have to pay conservation fee to Lumbini Development Trust (LDT) in order to visit Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha.According to the LDT, Nepalis will have to pay an additional Rs 50 to carry a camera and Rs 500 to carry a video camera inside the area. Meanwhile, one has to pay Rs 5,000 for video shooting inside the Lumbini area.

The allowance amount would be sufficient for the old grandmother of several children in the remote village. She expedited inquiry into the allowance.

Currently, State provides monthly allowance of Rs 2,000 to senior citizens above 70 under the Social Security Allowance Scheme.

Lamichhane had exercised her voting right during the second Constituent Assembly (CA) elections. Unfortunately, she has not been able to cast votes thereafter in lack of proper documentation.
