KATHMANDU, April 20: The chariot procession of Seto Machhendranath, the god of rain and good times, has begun with adherence to safety protocol. The towing of chariot began from Keltol and was brought to Tindhara Pathshala, Durbarmarg Tuesday.
KATHMANDU, Sept 6: The chariot of the deity Rato Machindranath was pulled at Patan on Sunday afternoon. The chariot was pulled from Machhindra Bahal in Pulchowk to Sorhakhutte Falcha- in front of Lalitpur Metropolitan Office.
Rato Machhindranath or Karunamaya is the god of grain and rain, where Rato Macchindranath or Bungadya's Jatra is considered as a living culture, which is celebrated by Buddhists, Hindus, Vaishnavites and Shaivites (Nath sects) alike
