KATHMANDU, Oct 6: The main opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC), has decided to take disciplinary action against its lawmakers involved in vandalism in the Assembly meeting of Province 5 on Monday.

MAKAWANPUR, Jan 5: Amid dissatisfaction expressed by lawmakers of both the ruling and the opposition parties over the directive made by Kathmandu about the name and capital city of Province 3, both ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) have intensified internal discussions to fix the permanent capital of the province.

KATHMANDU, Oct 27: After failing to forge consensus over the name and their capital city nearly for two years, four of the seven provinces have been awaiting nod from the central level leaders of major political parties to resolve these thorny issues.

KATHMANDU, July 6: One person died when a scooter (Ba 83 Pa 4035)  was hit by a taxi (Ba 2 Ja 1188) at Babarmahal in the capital on Saturday.
