POKHARA, Nov 30: The mechanical test (calibration flight) has been completed at the Pokhara Regional International Airport (PRIA), which is being prepared to be put into operation from the first week of January, 2023. Mechanical testing of the airport was done for a week. However, the report has not  arrived yet.

POKHARA, Oct 13: One of the main obstacles to bring Pokhara Regional International Airport into operation is cutting off the Ritthepani hill, which has not yet started. Ritthepani hill lies on the east of Pokhara Regional International Airport's 'approach' area. As the work of cutting off the hill on the approach has not started, the calibration flight has also been pushed back as a result.

KATHMANDU, March 4: The mechanical test flight (calibration flight) for the runway test of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has been completed.

KATHMANDU, March 4: Aviation flights were disrupted on Thursday due to a mechanical test flight (calibration flight) for the runway test at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Flights were held in the sky for a long time while some domestic flights were canceled. Another calibration flight at TIA is scheduled for today as well. The test flight is also expected to disrupt air services at TIA today.

KATHMANDU, Feb 18: Mechanical test flights (calibration flights) are being carried out at the Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) in Bhairahawa from today. The calibration flights will be carried out for a week. GBIA is a project of national pride.
