MORANG, Feb 26: Police have arrested three youths who came through the Jogbani border crossing in Biratnagar with brown sugar. They were arrested with the drugs on Monday morning from Biratnagar Metropolitan City-13.

Kalikot, Dec 6: Police have arrested a woman with drugs (brown sugar). Police Inspector Subraj Bam, from Kalikot said that Samjhana Nepali, 28, was arrested from Tilagufa Municipality-1 in Kalikot.

KATHMANDU, Jan 4: Bagwati Shrestha of Kiriyapani, Byas Municipality-6, Tanahun was arrested along with three kilograms 400 grams of marijuana on Sunday evening. The District Police Office Tanahun had checked her home after they got information that Shrestha was hiding marijuana in her home.

Kaski District Court has remanded four persons, including rapper Ashish Rana 'Laure', in custody for eight days for further investigation of the drug case on Friday. They were caught with brown sugar on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 31: Police have arrested two people in possession of brown sugar in Biratnagar. The arrested are Nishan Chaudhary, 22, of Sunsari Itahari Sub-Metropolis-9 and Diwas Tamang, 28, of Itahari-12, according to the Provincial Police Office, Biratnagar.

DANG, Nov 21: Sushila Shrestha and her son Rohan Shrestha were arrested along with 20 grams of brown sugar when police raided their house in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-5 of Dang district at around 5:30 PM on Saturday. Police have seized 99 small packets and one big packet of 19 grams and 710 mg of brown sugar.

BANIYANI, Nov 14: Police have arrested a youth from Mechipul in Jhapa Mechinagar Municipality-6 along with two grams of brown sugar on Saturday. The arrested youth has been identified as Pradip Basnet, 22, of Arjundhara Municipality-6, according to the District Police Office.

NEPALGUNJ, Oct 30: Two persons have been arrested from Jamunaha border in Nepalgunj along with 3.25 grams of brown sugar.

KAPILVASTU, Oct 21: Police have recovered illegal sal wood hidden in a pond at Chhapiya, Ward 1 of Kapilvastu. The timber is said to be worth more than Rs 200,000.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Rakesh Thapa, two people from Arjundhara were arrested Thursday night and one Indian national from Mechinagar in the afternoon along with brown sugar.

DANG, May 22: The police have arrested a man in possession of seven grams brown sugar from Dang district. The arrestee has been identified as Churna Singh Thakuri of Lamahi municipality-5.
