KATHMANDU, August 17: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal said that the profits earned by Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) will be invested in the construction of infrastructures related to electricity supply.

Nepal’s one of the prominent Digital Wallets and Payment Gateways, Khalti, is offering a bonus of Rs 100 to those who link their Prime bank account to Khalti. According to a press statement released by Khalti, this offer has been launched to encourage customers for direct and hassle-free payments which is possible from Khalti.

KATHMANDU, Jan 4: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) is preparing to distribute a bonus amount of around Rs 60 million to its employees. The corporation has stated that it has started allocating a bonus amount of Rs 58.5 million for the last two fiscal years even though it has been allocating the amount for years. As per the provision in the Bonus Act, 2074 (Fifth Amendment), one percent of the corporation’s net profit is going to be distributed as bonus.

KATHMANDU: The sole equity market of Nepal came under pressure throughout the trading session on Sunday. The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index fell sharply on the first hour of trading and declined further after it failed its attempt to pullback mid-day.
