As of this writing it is leading in over 60 of the 70 seats, with BJP trailing far behind. The Indian National Congress is nowhere to be seen. AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal is all set to return as Delhi’s chief minister for the third consecutive term. Kejriwal’s party highlighted the government’s achievements in reducing electricity bills, improving clinics and government schools.

The results of India’s biggest parliamentary election are talks of town across the world. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has secured astounding back-to-back victory in the lower house of parliament since 1984.

Narendra Modi’s BJP has won at least 297 out of 543 parliamentary seats in India’s Lok Sabha general elections according to the latest predictions and is therefore expected to keep its absolute majority, granting Modi another term as premier.

The Indian Lok Sabha will have its usual glamor quotient this time too with newcomers such as action star Sunny Deol and singer Hans Raj Hans set to join their showbiz colleagues Hema Malini, Kirron Kher and Ravi Kishan, all from the BJP, in the lower house of Parliament.
