Govt brings central billing monitoring system

KATHMANDU, Nov 18: The government has started connecting business firms and enterprises with computer billing software system into its central monitoring system, bringing all selling records of the firms into government’s surveillance system.

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: A total of 8,700 taxies of the 9,700 operating in the Kathmandu valley have been fitted with an automated billing machine as part of the drive to check random charging of taxi passengers, said the Nepal Bureau of Standards and Metrology (NBSM).
