KATHMANDU, August 1: Stocks traded slightly higher for the first half of the trading session on Tuesday. Despite gaining more than 2 points at the beginning of the session, the benchmark Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index pared its initial gains mid-session and maintained negative bias throughout the remaining trading hours. Eventually, the index shed 2.91 points, or 0.24 percent, to close at 1,191.47 points.
KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index extended losses for a fourth consecutive session, dropping more than 11 points, or 0.98 percent, on Sunday. The first trading day of the week was marked by gradual decline of stocks throughout the day. The benchmark index closed at 1,181.66 points.
KATHMANDU: The sole equity market of Nepal experienced continuous decline throughout the week with the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index dropping 1.60 percent to close at 1,318.22 points. Sensitive index which accounts for the performance of Class 'A' stocks declined 1.56 percent to 277.89 points.
