BAGLUNG, July 18: Flash flood triggered by incessant rains here last night inflicted damage on the Burtibang Bazaar, the center of Dhorpatan Municipality in Balgung. The flood from the local Thado River entered the settlement, causing physical losses.

BAGLUNG, Sept 25: Local trade has not flourished in the district this year even in the Dashain festival. Although trade usually flourishes during the festival season, as had been the case in the previous years, the market in Baglung district headquarters has seen a decrease in trade, according to local entrepreneurs.
ILAM, Sept 23: Approximately 60 quintals of Chhurpi (a traditional cheese) worth about Rs 8 million is exported every month to the United States of America from Ranke Bazaar bordering Ilam and Panchthar districts, local traders said.

BABIYACHAUR (MYAGDI), June 12: A flash flood which struck on Saturday night at Beni Bazaar caused damages to more than a hundred houses and retail shops while forcing the residents to stay awake all night.
The flood cascading from a higher ground above the settlement at 11 pm inundated the houses in Campus Chowk and Mangal Ghat. The flood laden with slush and stones broke into the houses.
