KATHMANDU, June 4:  Sovit Basnet directed ‘Babu Kancha’, a highly anticipated movie of 2018, revealed its first look. The release date was also announced in the same event.  The film features Salon Basnet in the lead role.

His life story ‘Singhadurbar Badalne Sangharsha’ – ‘Struggle for Change Singhadurbar’ published by publication nepa-laya is now available in bookstores.

Publication Nepalaya is set to present its readers with yet another important personality of Nepal’s modern history. An autobiography of Lal Babu Pandit, a political personality who hails from the southern plains, was unveiled coinciding with the Chhath festival.

KATHMANDU, May 9:   A new Nepali movie is all set to go on floor from third week of May. The shooting of ‘Babu Kancha’, a new directorial movie of Shovit Basnet will start from May 19.

Kamal Mani Dixit was born on September 2, 1929 and passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016. Both events happened in Kathmandu.
