ISLAMABAD, June 10: Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday asked citizens to take advantage of the tax amnesty scheme and declare their undisclosed assets by June 30 to contribute in the development of the country which is grappling with a severe financial crunch.
A years-long lawsuit between Michael Jackson’s estate and one of the superstar’s former managers has been settled, ending one of the final legal fights over the King of Pop’s assets. The confidential settlement announced Thursday with Tohme R Tohme, Jackson’s manager in the last year of his life, was reached after a trial had been underway for five days. It comes a month short of the 10th anniversary of Jackson’s death.
KATHMANDU, May 6: All assets of over 300 Bus Entrepreneurs Committees and their federations, which won't exist by the end of Mid July, will come under ownership of government automatically as per law. Such assets which will come under government ownership includes the money deposited in the banks, office buildings and other movable assets owned by those committees, which are registered at the district administration offices under Association Registration Act 1977.
Russia has combat-tested more than 200 new advanced weapons systems in Syria since September 2015. Weapons deployed include long-range air- and sea-based Kalibr and Kh-101 cruise missiles. Russia’s advanced weaponry will be demonstrated for the first time at Moscow’s Red Square military parade on May 9.

BANEPA, Jan 29: Valuable silver assets were stolen from the Karunamai Temple based in Ugrachandi of Banepa-4, Kavrepalanchowk. As police said, silver ornaments including anklets, necklace and crown worth Rs 200 thousands were stolen from the temple of Hindu Goddess Karunamai last night.
