The study, conducted from April 23 to May 03 has a sample size of 2,082, from across Nepal.

This new illness certainly in frightened and needs attention but it is important to note that far more people die from an illness that is too familiar to the seasonal flu. Its effects on many people’s usual activities, routines or livelihoods – levels of loneliness, depression. According to WHO, harmful alcohol and drug use, and self-harm or suicidal behavior are also expected to rise.

Researchers from Northwestern University in the United States found that 13 speedy mini-apps called 'IntelliCare' significantly reduced 50 percent depression and anxiety in participants, who used the apps on their smartphones up to four times a day using psychotherapy or with antidepressant medication.
