KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Attorney General Basanta Ram Bhandari gave his consent to initiate investigation against newly elected lawmaker Nawaraj Silwal over his controversial involvement in submitting false performance evaluation report to the Supreme Court earlier this year.

KATHMANDU, March 16: Commissioners of the Election Commission including Chief Election Commissioner Dr Ayodhi Prasad Yadav held discussion with Attorney General, Raman Kumar Shrestha, and Deputy Attorney General, Kiran Poudel, regarding election symbol and order of precedence of the parties participating in the election.
