KATMANDU, August 22: At a time when a section of people are casting serious doubts over the reliability of the school’s internal assessment after more than 9,000 students achieved GPA of 4 in their SEE examinations, the recent SEE result has left several thousands students, who may not be able to get admission in the Grade 11, heavily concerned about their prospect of continuing further studies this academic session.
KATHMANDU, July 7: The private schools have been charging admission fees for grade 11 against the rules. The schools are reportedly charging Rs 20,000 to 35,000 as admission fees in Grade 11. The Education Act 2017 has categorized Grade 0 to 12 as school education. Once the student is enrolled in a class of a school, the student doesn't have to pay admission fees till Grade 12 in the same school.
KATHMANDU, July 9: The Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training (CTEVT) has revised the admission criteria set for its diploma courses. However, it is yet to increase its enrollment capacity.
BHAKTAPUR, July 8: The meeting of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) National Examination Board today has changed the criteria for the enrollment of the students in the vocational subjects of the diploma course.
KATHMANDU, June 25:With the new academic session just around the corner, some higher secondary schools in Kathmandu Valley have started collecting additional amount for the admission process against the guidelines of the government regulatory body. However, the concerned authority hasn't taken any action against them.
