POKHARA, Jan 22: Just a few days before the Pokhara Regional International Airport came into operation, an emergency rescue drill was conducted on the airport premises. The purpose of the drill was to make the rescuers familiar with the process of saving passengers in case of a plane crash and how to rescue passengers and control fire in an aircraft that has crashed.

POKHARA, Jan 15: The Yeti Airlines plane that met with an accident in Pokhara on Sunday morning has fallen into the Seti River gorge that flows through Pokhara. This gorge is considered to be dangerous for anyone to venture because of the steep cliffs on both sides of the gorge. The river that flows deep down the gorge is not easily visible from above.

POKHARA, Jan 15: Rescuers are finding it difficult to expedite rescue efforts as the Yeti Airline aircraft that met with an accident in Pokhara fell into the gorge of Seti.
