KATHMANDU, Aug 6: A task force investigating the disappearance of two buses and their passengers in the Trishuli River due to a landslide in Simaltal has recommended Rs 200,000 in compensation for each victim's family.

CHITWAN, July 16: Coordination has been made with bordering Indian districts in course of carrying out search for the missing buses and passengers in a landslide that occurred at Simaltal along Narayanghat-Mugling road section.

KATHMANDU, July 14: One hundred and forty-nine personnel of the Armed Police Force (APF) have been mobilized to search for the passengers of the two buses that went missing after being swept away into the Trishuli river by a landslide last Friday.
