KATHMANDU, June 30: Agitating British Gurkhas Satyagraha United Struggle Committee (BGSUSC) has decided to postpone its fast unto death planned from July 1 after the Nepal government assured them that a firm step would be taken to start a direct table talk with the British government to resolve the outstanding Gurkha issues.

KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Dr Govinda KC who was brought to Kathmandu earlier Tuesday has been forcibly taken to the National Turma Center. Dr KC, a senior orthopedic surgeon, who has been staging a hunger strike for the 19th time demanding reforms in the medical sector, was brought to Kathmandu through a flight at 11:45 AM.

Why this cruelty against Dr KC?

Instead of realizing the relevance of Dr KC’s call for reforms in health sector, the government has treated him in extremely cruel and hostile manner.

Iih, once again is in indefinite Satyagraha until all the demands are fulfilled for a better COVID-19 response to save the lives that are at risk due to the government’s continual incompetence.
