CAN suspends cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has suspended cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane. CAN suspended him after the Kathmandu District Court convicted him on rape charges and ordered to sentence him to eight years in prison.
Police start process to arrest Sandeep Lamichhane through Interpol

KATHMANDU, Sept 18: The police have started the process of issuing a notice through Interpol to arrest the suspended skipper of the Nepali national cricket team (men) Sandeep Lamichhane, who is accused of raping a 17-year-old girl, a minor as per the prevailing law.
