China ends 31-month long unannounced blockade, allows entry of Nepali goods from Rasuwagadhi border

KATHMANDU, Dec 28: China on Tuesday permitted a notable number of Nepal’s cargo trucks carrying exportable goods to move across the border at the Rasuwagadhi-Kerung checkpoint, ending a 31-month long unannounced blockade.
Rasuwagadhi-Kerung checkpoint to be fully operational from Monday

RASUWA, Feb 28: The Rasuwagadhi-Kerung checkpoint in Rasuwa district, one of the major trade points with China, will be reopened in a full-fledged way from Monday, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
