KATHMANDU, Feb 28: A high profile clash between defending champion Lalitpur Patriots and Pokhara Rhinos will kick-off the third edition of Everest Premier League (EPL) on March 14.

KATHMANDU, Dec 16: Nepal national cricket team middle order batsman Dipendra Singh Airee smashed an unbeaten 54 runs from 46 deliveries to chase down the target of 130 runs in the 19th over against Pokhara Rhinos to secure Chitwan Tigers’ second win of the ongoing Everest Premier League (EPL) in Tribhuvan University international cricket ground in Kirtipur on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 16: The Nepal's all-rounder cricketer Shakti Prasad Gauchan retired from all forms of cricket after his team crashed out of the ongoing Everest Premier League (EPL) on Saturday. Gauchan-led Pokhara Rhinos' match against Chitwan Tigers at the Tribhuvan University international cricket ground in Kirtipur was his final match as a professional cricketer. Gauchan had retired from international cricket in July after playing for the national team of Nepal against the Netherlands.

KATHMANDU, Dec 15: Kathmandu Kings XI’s Irish all-rounder Kevin O’Brien produced a player-of-the-match performance to eliminate Pokhara Rhinos from the playoffs race in the eleventh match played during the ongoing Everest Premier League at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Friday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Biratnagar Warriors won by seven runs in first ever super over of the league. Pokhara Rhinos had set a target of 85 runs for Biratnagar Warriors in 20 overs. However, the game leveled going in the super-over.

Tomar propels Patriots on top of table

KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Gaurav Tomar, the foreign batsman from India, smashed a breathtaking 82 runs with a strike rate of 200 propelling Lalitpur Patriots to second win in three games by eight wickets during the fifth match of the Everest Premier League against Pokhara Rhinos at Tribhuvan University international cricket ground in Kirtipur on Monday. Patriots have four points after three matches and are on top of the EPL points table.
