PADT imposes ban on plastic bags in Pashupati temple premises

KATHMANDU, March 29: Plastic is prohibited in Pashupatinath temple premises. The Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) published a notice on Wednesday saying that it was found that there was more waste in the Pashupati area due to the use of plastic.

KATHMANDU, Sept 10: The Pashupatinath Temple which remained closed for four and a half months owing to the second wave of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been reopened for devotees from 5.30AM on Friday. Devotees have started flocking to the temple since early morning today.
