Private hospitals defy govt’s directive, set Rs 3,899 for PCR testing

KATHMANDU, Sep 28: Although the government has set the rate for RT-PCR testing at Rs 2,000, eight private hospitals have defied the government directive and are charging almost double the amount for PCR test.

KATHMANDU, May 15: The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday directed the government to accelerate PCR testing among people suspected to have been infected by coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in order to save the public from this pandemic.
