Child Development Society (CDS) in coordination with World Vision International Nepal supported a total of 10 oxygen cylinders with hygiene and safety materials to Chandragiri Municipality, Balaju-16 and Kirtipur Municipality on Wednesday.

Doctors warn that the patients will die due to the lack of oxygen if the authorities fail to make adequate supply in the next two or three days.

NUWAKOT, June 27: District Administration Office (DAO) Nuwakot has directed Siddhi Ganesh Oxygen Gas Industries to stop construction of its office and production plant.The office sent a letter to officials of the industry to stop all construction works, stating that industry was illegally extracting sand from the construction site in the pretext of building office and production plant.

Dang, June 10: The construction of an oxygen plant has started at Rapti Zonal Hospital at Tulsipur with an aim to supply necessary oxygen system needed for the medical purposes.  The preparation to set up an oxygen plant at a government run zonal hospital is first of its kind in Nepal. The government extended financial support of Rs 12.5 million for construction of the plant, the hospital said.
