Some schools in the district are considering running physical classes soon

KATHMANDU, Sep 10: The government has given a green signal to private schools to collect fees for online classes run at the time of global pandemic.

KATHMANDU, July 16: Citing the ongoing crisis induced by the COVID-19 pandemic, most of the private schools haven’t paid their staff for over six months now. Some schools have even asked their teachers and staff to go on unpaid leave. Some teachers and staff have even criticized schools ousting them from their jobs. Till this day, 300 teachers from schools across the country have been asked to go on unpaid leave, leaving them unemployed and frustrated.

KATHMANDU, July 15: Private schools across the nation have decided to stop the online classes from Thursday.

KATHMANDU, July 6: Private school operators have cancelled their protest programs, saying that the government is positive about fulfilling their demands.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are all forced to self-isolate and stay at home in order to protect ourselves from coronavirus. Our lives have changed drastically since the lockdown began. Schools, stores, and restaurants are closed.

Learning during lockdown

Due to the threat of coronavirus pandemic, all academic instructions, including schools, colleges, and universities have been shut down. This presents parents with the challenge of entertaining and educating their children during this forced break. I am sure not all children will be excited at the thought of learning during this time, but that situation is going to change soon. The euphoria of a break will soon wear off, and then children will feel pretty empty because the schools will remain closed for at least a few more weeks. Let us not think about more time than that at the moment.

KATHMANDU, March 20: These days Ajay Adhikari, a student of Uniglobe College, Kamaladi doesn’t feel pressurized to wake up early in the morning to reach college as early as possible. Instead of following his previous routine of waking up and rushing towards the college, Adhikari a 17-year-old student living in Balaju rather wakes up with no pressure and looks forward to join the online classes for the day. Adhikari is one of those 200 students who join the online classes that the college has started providing to its students of late.
