KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Students who have applied for the No Objection Certificate (NOC) since December 8 are required to re-apply.

For a long time now, Nepali students have been heading to developed countries for higher education. There has been a significant rise in the number of Nepali students pursuing higher education abroad. The rising number of students seeking higher education abroad has become a matter of concern for the state. However, the relevant authorities have failed to create an environment conducive for them to pursue their studies within the country.

KATHMANDU, May 15:  The Foreign Study Permit Branch, operating under the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, has introduced online arrangements for issuing no objection certificates (NOCs).
