Rescue for Nepalis stranded abroad due to COVID-19 ‘too little, too late’

KATHMANDU, July 2: Manish Khadka decided to shut down his screen printing business that he had been running in Patan as he was not certain when he would be able to return home from Indonesia. He had left for Indonesia on March 6 for a short trip but was left stranded for more than three months due to abrupt suspension of international flights to and from Nepal.
Government is fully aware of situation of Nepalis stranded abroad: FM Gyawali

KATHMANDU, April 21: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, has said that the government was fully informed and aware of the Nepalis stranded abroad, and that it would start the process of bringing them back home once the situation turned favourable.
