Nepali film 'Hori' has been included in the world's prestigious film development lab Torino Film Lab. The film has been selected in the Torino Lab, which was started this year after the Torino Film Lab announced that it would operate an online lab, as it was unable to operate the lab physically during the Covid-19 pandemic.

KATHMANDU, August 2: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota has said the government is committed to protecting and fostering the Nepali film industry.

Popular Indian-born Canadian actress Sunny Leone featured in an item song first time for Nepali film ‘Password’. Directed by Samrat Basnet, Sunny also plays a small cameo in the move

KATHMANDU, Dec 19: Upcoming Nepali film ‘Shubha Love’ has released its first look. The first look features two lead characters of the film; Harihar Adhikari and Cristin Poudel. Both Adhikari and Poudel are debuting in the movie. The first look exposes the onscreen chemistry between the lead characters.

New Nepali film ‘Jani Najaani’ released its first look.  The poster featured artists of the film including Manish Shrestha, Sunny Singh, and Namrata Shrestha. Daughter of artist and director Bishwo Basnet, Nirisha debuts in this film.

KATHMANDU, Oct 15: Nepali film ‘Ranaveer’ is scheduled for release on the first of February, next year. Along with the release date, the production team also revealed the first look of the movie on Thursday through a one-minute-long clip showing a conflict between actors Saruk Tamrakar and Sushil Sitaula.
