KATHMANDU, August 11: A newborn baby delivered by a COVID-19 patient has died at Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital. A 28-year-old woman, who is a resident of Chaurjahari Municipality in Western Rukum, was admitted to Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital (NMCTH), Kohalpur for delivery. She gave birth to a son at the hospital on Saturday.
NEPALGUNJ, May 23: Twenty-one COVID-19 patients of Banke district including the first infected returned home on Friday after recovering from this deadly disease. A 60-year-old man and a seven-year-old girl child were among those who were admitted to Khajura-based Sushil Koirala Prakhar Cancer Hospital some three weeks ago.

The couple was coming home from Himachal Pradesh of India for celebrating Dashain with their family members at home. “It feels so good to return home. We planned the return for many months.
