KATHMANDU, Sept 23: Bal Krishna Khand, home minister of Nepal, and Naveen Srivastava, ambassador of India to Nepal, jointly performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Nepal Police Academy in Kavrepalanchowk.

KATHMANDU, Nov 19: At a time when the government’s recent bid to shift the Nepal Police Academy elsewhere to expand the President’s Office compound is being criticized from various quarters, those familiar with the history of Shital Niwas, the iconic building housing the President’s Office, have called for removing the President’s Office itself from Shital Niwas to honor the wishes of its rightful owner.
