KATHMANDU, Feb 14: The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has urged the government to hold talks with the Chinese side immediately to ensure smooth bilateral trade via the Rasuwagadhi-Kerung border point between the two countries.

KATHMANDU, Sept 24: The Rasuwagadhi-Kerung transit point, one of the two major land routes of Nepal-China trade, has been opened since Wednesday, after the Chinese authorities expressed their consent to conditionally reopen the border point for movement of traded goods.

RASUWA, July 18: A road connecting the Rasuwagadhi border point has been obstructed since this morning following landslides in the Tatopanidada area along the Syafrubesi-Rasuwagadhi road.

KATHMANDU, Feb 18: Nepal-China trade volume went down in the last month after the northern neighbor halted the cross-border movement of traded goods because of the coronavirus outbreak. If this situation persists for a longer period of time, a possible shortage of the imported goods will loom and possibly trigger an upswing in market prices, according to analysts.
